HOW TO ENTER

To enter select Cricklands End Of Season Showing Spectacular, when you follow the link above to our horsemonkey page.  Here you enter all classes that you would like to enter.  There will be no entries on the day. You will all be provided with a bridle number through horse monkey which you will be require to wear for all classes.  This number can be printed off at home or worn using a bridle badge.

Please join one of the Whatsapp groups which will keep you updated with information regarding the show. The link for this will be available on our website on Thursday before the show.
As part of the Spectacular Package, all riders that come first or second in their classes will automatically qualify for the relevant Championship held on the Sunday.  If you wish to enter the Championship classes please declare in the office by 6pm on Saturday.

It’s also a good excuse to stay for the party on Saturday Night!!

Saturday Evening Showcase Classes

Some exciting classes to watch Saturday evening.  These classes will run in the Superflex Arena, after the show jumping has finished. 

 

Class 77- Pairs
Open to all riders of all ages. Open to horses/ponies four years and over. Ridden only. Judged on the best look alike pair. 

​

Class 78- Bareback Equitation
Horses and ponies 4 years old and over. Confirmation and sex will not be taken into account. The class will be judged 60% on the rider and 40% on the horse’s manners. You will only be required to walk on the go around, we will be asking for a short individual show but no galloping allowed and show to reflect riders capabilities.

Entry fee £11 per class

£50 to the winner of each class and a Winners cap.

Class 1 -  Best Turned Out - Ridden (Plaited)
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over. Any Height. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship A.. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.

Class 2 -  Novice Show Hunter / Show Pony
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. Riders 18years& under. Ponies not to have won 1st place in any class before 1st January in the current year. SNAFFLE BRIDLES ONLY. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship A.. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.
 
Class 3 - Open Show Hunter / Show Pony
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. Riders 18 years & under. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship A.. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.
 
Class 4 - Novice Lead Rein - Plaited Only
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. To include plaited only. Ponies not to have won any Lead Rein class before 1st January in the current year. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before January 1st in the current year. SNAFFLE BRIDLES ONLY. To be led by an attendant. Class 5 - Open Lead Rein - Plaited Only
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over, not exceeding 122cms, most suitable for, and ridden by a child not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 15 - Ridden Veteran

Class 16 - Ridden Coloured
Stallion, Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over. Riders any age. To include Piebald, Skewbald, Palomino, Dun, Spotted, Appaloosa, Roan.(see rules for Ridden Stallions) 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship B.. Class 18 - Ridden Palomino

Class 19 - Ridden Spotted
Mare or Gelding or Stallion. Four years old and over. Riders any age. (see rules for Ridden Stallions) This is open to any height and any breed. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship C. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday. 

 

Class 20 - Pure/Part/Anglo Arab & Foreign and Rare Breeds Ridden
Stallion, Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over. Riders any age. To be registered relevant   Society(see rules for Ridden Stallions) Rare Breeds eligible are those on the Critical & Endangered liststo include part breds.1st and 2nd qualify for Championship C. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.

 

Class 21 - Competition Horse or Pony - Ridden
Mare or Gelding. Four years old and over. Suitable for dressage, showjumping or eventing. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship C. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.
 
Class 22 - Family Horse or Pony – Ridden

Class 23 - Riding Club Horse - Ridden

There will be a group go round in walk and trot. To be led by an attendant. SNAFFLE BRIDLES ONLY. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship E. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.
 
Class 36 - Newbie Junior Rider- 4yrs-10yrs
Mare or Gelding. Four years and over. Riders to be correct size for mount. This class is an introduction to showing class for riders 16 years and under, who consider themselves either a new, nervous or novice rider at showing not to have won 1st place in any class before 1st January in the current year. Class 44 - Best Horse or Pony Ridden Side Saddle
Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over. Open to any type of exhibit. Open to adults, juniors and lead rein. Leaders must be correctly dressed. Conformation and manners will be taken into consideration. Horses/ponies will not be stripped. Riding hats must be worn. 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship G. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.

Mare or Gelding. Any Breed. Fifteen years old and over. Competitors will be required to give a short show. Exhibitors must display equines age. (Special Rosette to Eldest Pony. Special Rosette to Eldest Horse). 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship H. Please ensure you declare in the office if you wish to compete in a Championship class by 6pm Saturday.

 

Class 46 - In-Hand Foreign and Rare Breed
Stallion, Mare or Gelding. To be registered with relevant Society (see rules for Ridden Stallions) Rare Breeds eligible are those on the Critical & Endangered lists to include part breds (Special Best Young stock Rosette) 1st and 2nd qualify for Championship H. Class 48 - In-Hand Companion Horse or Pony
Any age. For horses and ponies that do not fit in any other showing class, Exhibits will not be marked down for scars or blemishes. Any height. Eye of the Beholder 
Prize Money:
The ‘Eye of the Beholder’ - £50, Rosette and Sash
The ‘Eye of the Beholder’ Award will be chosen by a guest of honour who may not be from the world of showing. The winner will be chosen as the horse or pony that most catches the Guest of Honour’s eye during the Supreme Championship of Show class. The award will be announced just before the overall Supreme Champion and Reserve are chosen.
